We are very lucky to have two garden spaces. We created a basement garden in the spring of 2022 and we have a beautiful enclosed garden to the rear of The Gallery which also offers an alternate view of the New Town. Both gardens offer another creative space for art and wildlife. They are tended to and designed by gallery artist and horticulturist Alex Knubley – explore her work available at The Scottish Gallery here.
The gardens are accented by stunning corten steel sculptures by Andrea Geile, giving structure and warmth to the spaces. Andrea has been busy with exciting new projects and a solo show in Germany, which you can read about here.
This week we pay homage to these glorious green spaces, highlighting the planting, art and artists in our summer gardens.
